WHAT IS PASS IT ON?

The "Pass It On" initiative is our opportunity to take the next step in living out God's mission for Wildwood to Shine as His LIGHT in our homes, our community, and the world. This three year giving program will enable us to continue our growth as we light the way for the next generation by making room for them in our new children's ministry building. Our goal is to encourage each other to grow in the joy and grace of giving. By growing in this way, we not only discover how much God has blessed us, but we discover our calling to become a great blessing for God's vision and our purpose of expanding His Kingdom in this world.

WHEN WOULD WE START BUILDING?

We hope to begin construction by the end of the summer 2008 and complete construction by early 2010.

WILL MY CONTRIBUTION BE MADE PUBLIC?

No, only the total of all commitments received will be announced on the Celebreation Weekend of Sunday, May 4.

What will the cost of the project be?

The total cost of the project including site work, parking, the new building, and furnishings will not exceed $5 million.

HOW Much are we hoping to raise?

It is our desire and prayer that God would provide the entire amount over the three years of the "Pass It On" initiative. However, we have made arrangements to finance any balance of the cost of this project.

Can we do this?

"God can do anything, you nkow -- far more than you could ever imainge or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He is not going to do it by pushing us around, but by working within us. His Spirit deeply and gently within us." -Ephesians 3:20 (from Eugene Peterson's paraphrase "The Message").

IS it possible to revise my commitment?

Absolutely! You may do so at any time during the three-year commitment period.

What about regular giving?

Your commitment to "Pass It On" should be an amount God leads you to give over and above your regular tithe or offering. We must maintain our giving to the ongoing life of the church for the day-to-day ministry to continue.
