How to Make your Commitment

A “Pass it On” Commitment card and a cash gift envelope will be mailed to your home. Additional cards and envelopes will be available at our Sunday services, at our home fellowship events, or in the church office.

After praying about your part in the “Pass it On” initiative, follow these steps to make your commitment:

Determine God’s Will

Determine the commitment that God is leading you to make during the “Pass it On” initiative by meeting as a family (if applicable) or as an individual, and going before God in prayer about how He would have you be involved financially.

Fill out your comitment card

Write down the amount of your commitment that you will be able to give as your first fruits offering. Then using the giving chart on your commitment card, write down the amount you desire to trust God to enable you to give during the next 36 months, May 2008 through May 2011. Also list any gift assets that you are being led to invest (stocks, bonds, etc.)

Bring your card, April 27 (Comitment Sunday)

As an act of worship, bring your commitment card on Commitment Sunday, Sunday April 27. If you cannot attend that day, please mail or bring your card to the church office by Thursday, April 24 so that it can be included on Commitment Sunday.

Our Commitment to You

Your faith commitment and gifts are always kept confidential. A financial commitment to Wildwood is not a legally binding contract, but is important to help us plan for the future. If your financial situation changes, you are free to increase or decrease your giving.

Our church office is available to discuss gifts of stocks, bonds, and other assets. All gifts are tax deductible and should be commitments to give above and beyond your regular giving to the ongoing ministry of the church.
