Information on Prayer at Wildwood:

Wildwood is dedicated to prayer as a part of a dynamic spiritual walk and a growing, healthy church. To aid in the prayer life of the church as a whole, in the lives of individual believers, and those who do not know Christ Wildwood has a weekly prayer email, weekly prayer team meetings, and an emergency prayer email chain.

If you would like to receive the weekly prayer email or the emergency prayer emails please contact Bill Fix at billfix@yahoo.com .

If you would like to attend the weekly prayer meetings they are held on Wednesdays from 7-8pm at Wildwood in room #227 (upstairs across from the church office).

A History of Prayer At Wildwood by Bill Fix:
There is much prayer ministry at Wildwood, involving many diverse groups and many faithful individuals who "pray without ceasing." The part of the prayer ministry with which I am involved focuses on the collection and distribution of prayer requests through e-mail and on the Wednesday evening prayer meeting at the church. My involvement began several years ago, when Harold and Ute Stalford hosted a home study on prayer that extended for two academic years. We studied the lives of men and women whose lives were marked by intense and faithful prayer, and we prayed together at these meetings. Out of this study, we started the Wednesday evening prayer meeting at the church, and it has continued to the present time. The group, at any given meeting, is usually pretty small (10-20 people), but I suppose that there have been well over 200 different people who have participated in the Wednesday evening prayer meeting since its inception. We love to have people, who have pressing needs, come to allow us to pray with them and for them. Everyone is cordially invited to join us! We meet upstairs in the Truthseeker's Room, just to the South of the Worship Center, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each Wednesday. You can come and go, or you can stay for the full time. The time goes by really fast!
